Feb - Thinking Day at the Beach |
Join
the entire Region (St Kilda to Sorrento!) by the Bay for water
activities and games to celebrate the founding of Scouts and Guides.
On
ya bike as we ride to Port Melbourne, catch the Ferry across the river
and then catch the train home. Pack your dinner - and lash a torch to
your bike!
Learn
to light a fire and cook on it, as our PLs hone their gourmet cooking
skills for camp. BYO mess kit and DON"T FORGET TO BRING LOTS OF
SMALL STICKS! EVERYONE!!
Not
sure exactly what we're making here. Two options proposed - either
working with clay (pottery) or learning to restore furniture. We'll
keep you posted...
Roll
up bed-rolls, check out your cook box and gadget wood, and plan your
camp menu...its nearly time!
This
is the best term for camping and this time our camp will have a
'water' theme...mark this date in your diaries - its one you DO NOT
want to miss! THIS is what guides is all about...
Guides
learn to be caring members of the community. Here in Brighton, we lead
a pretty easy life - we're very lucky. Let's give something back to
the community...
