For Halloween this year we ran a giant Murder Mystery! The PLs and SGs played the roles of the 14 "suspects" and the rest of the unit dressed up as "witnesses" (rich and famous people who were at the party), "authorities" (forensic scientists, police, doctors, reporters and lawyers), or "creatures" (bats, vampires, witches). Each girl was given a character to dress up as and the resulting costumes were unbelievably good - see for yourself in the pics that follow!

The mystery was bought and downloaded from the internet and came with character descriptions for the suspects and all the witnesses, as well as clues and evidence items. We chose a Halloween theme, but you can find lots of others at:  www.tailormademysteries.com

The murderer was revealed by the light of candles only as darkness fell in the eerie scout hall by the beach...but we won't spoil it for you if you weren't there!
